Malva FM 88.1 broadcasts from General Pico, in the north of La Pampa province, on the flat horizon of the pampa, with a slogan that doubles as a promise: En La Pampa no hay silencio - in La Pampa there is no silence. It is an online platform with an FM soul.

The station was created to make radio differently - free, authentic and outside the traditional molds, in its own words. Behind it is Fernando Velez Vega, a broadcaster with more than 35 years of experience, an operator, producer and music programmer in General Pico since the late 1980s - the programming is his own curation, built over decades, a one-man dream with professional hands.

The music leads and the words are few - mucha musica y pocas palabras - a mix of pop, rock and disco-tinged grooves, streamed at malvafm.com, carried on its own Android and iOS apps, with a WhatsApp line open for greetings. Local sponsors keep it on air; the pampa keeps it honest.
