FM Federal 99.5

FM Federal 99.5 - LRL317 - is a radio like no other: the first services radio in the world created and operated by a police force, the Policia Federal Argentina, non-profit from the first day, on the air since October 21, 1996, day and night, from the historic central headquarters on Moreno 1550, Buenos Aires.

The mission is the public service: traffic reports, prevention of human trafficking, cybercrime and addictions, road education and environment, the health microprograms included, with news every thirty minutes and an adult contemporary soundtrack, day after day. The grid has names: Manana Federal opens the day, Una Tarde Mas holds the afternoon and La Vuelta brings the noche y magia of the city.

The frequency wandered the dial - 87.9, 93.1, 93.7 - until the 99.5 of 2008; the awards, Martin Fierro and Eter included, stayed, and the badge is a microphone. The radio of the police, without a single commercial.
