Serra FM 87.9

Serra FM 87.9 broadcasts from Petrolina, the São Francisco river city in the sertão of Pernambuco, with a slogan that courts the listener directly: o seu novo amor - your new love, and it programs accordingly, on the community-reserved band of the dial.

The dial plays hits in the community-frequency tradition: current favourites and familiar classics, greetings and song requests, local news and service, in Portuguese around the clock - the soundtrack of the river city and its twin Juazeiro just across the bridge, from the irrigated fruit farms to the evening riverfront promenade.

The stream runs alongside the FM signal, keeping the São Francisco valley close for the many Petrolina natives who have moved away and for anyone curious about sertão radio. Free web radio to listen online, your new love on the dial, at any hour of the day or night.
