About Nova ITU
Nova Itu FM 87.9 rides the community frequency of Itu, São Paulo, under a slogan that sells the whole idea in four words: uma nova onda no ar - a new wave on the air, as the banner reads across the site.
The grid mixes named programs - Jovem Guarda at three, Saude com Beleza at four and Bola na Mesa football talk at five - with a Top 5 chart that ranges from Bruno Mars and Snoop Dogg to Anitta's Abre Caminho, international pop beside national releases. A live studio camera, a recados wall full of prayers and blessings from the faithful, national political news and a dance-school partnership keep the dial busy between the songs, hour after hour and day after day.
The Google Play app and the web stream carry the new wave beyond Itu's bell-tower skyline, to locals and the interior-São Paulo diaspora alike. Free web radio to listen online, around the clock and any day of the week.
