Rádio Super Funk Melody

Radio Super Funk Melody sells itself with one repeated line: a rádio que só toca relíquias - the radio that plays only the relics. The archive claim is equally direct: the biggest collection of old funk, meaning the funk melody era - the melodic, romantic years of the Brazilian sound, from the track that made the baile to the one that closed it.

The station is a one-man passion project run by Arlindo from Minas Gerais, hosted on the CenaHost web-radio platform and distributed across half the apps of the Brazilian market - RádioBox, RadiosNet, Tunein, myTuner and Streema among them, from phone to car dash.

Song requests go through the blog's Pedir Música button, the old-school way of asking. Free web radio to listen online, at any hour of the day or night, for everyone who misses the baile of the old days and keeps the relics in rotation.
