La Red AM

Radio La Red is the sports voice of Buenos Aires: an AM 910 institution on air since 1 April 1991, when it went live with a then-radical idea - a station built around sport. From 2000 it has carried the slogan that defines it: the radio of sports and news. Thirty-five years on, it is still the reference for sports radio in Argentina.

Football is the heartbeat - the Primera Division, the national team, the eternal debates - but the schedule rounds out with news, politics and current-affairs talk, and a network of more than 30 repeaters plus digital platforms carries it across the whole country. It belongs to Grupo America, one of Argentina's big media houses. Match days turn it into a national loudspeaker.

The live broadcast streams from lared.am and its app, and its YouTube channel runs live interviews all day while the social feeds never sleep - their own tagline says it best: realmente un equipo, truly a team.
