Aspen 102.3

Aspen 102.3 is the classics station of Buenos Aires - the radio de los clasicos, as Argentina calls it. Born as the successor of Laser 120 FM, it has almost forty years of history, and its story is entangled with the history of Argentine FM itself. The last decade made it the fastest-growing FM in the country, its audience up 75 percent in ten years.

The backbone is 80s and 90s classics - Born to Run sits naturally next to Michael Jackson and Prince - but Aspen carefully adds five to eight current hits a week, only songs with a link to its classics, and its presenters explain why. The day runs on named shows: Aspen Express in the morning, Conexion Aspen, Mundo Aspen, Regreso Aspen and Aspen Night.

Beyond 102.3 FM, the Aspen Net repeater network carries it across Argentina, and the stream at fmaspen.com goes everywhere. A Spotify playlist of its hundred classics keeps the brand nostalgic between listens. Pura musica, twenty-four hours - the slogan understates it.
