La Brújula

La Brujula 24 is a digital news outlet from Bahia Blanca, the main city in the south of Buenos Aires province. True to the 24 in its name, it follows the news of the city and the region around the clock, from municipal decisions and community initiatives to weather alerts, which matter in a coastal area used to sudden changes of wind and rain. Bahia Blanca is a port city of some 300,000 people and one of the economic centers of the Argentine south, and the outlet covers its port, industry and university life as well.

Besides reporting, the outlet keeps practical service sections that readers use daily: guides to paperwork and procedures, public service information and answers to common queries. The newsroom also runs a live streaming channel, so its coverage can be followed as a continuous broadcast, part radio and part video, in addition to the written news on the site.
