Radio FM Eclipse

Radio FM Eclipse has been on the air since 2006, broadcasting on 88.9 FM from Don Torcuato, in the Tigre district of northern Greater Buenos Aires. The station is formally licensed on channel 205, and its music policy mixes the hits of the moment with the classics of the 80s and 90s, a blend designed to accompany the listener at work, in the office or at home, as its own slogan puts it.

The studios are on Avenida Angel T. de Alvear in Don Torcuato, and the programming keeps a close neighborhood character while sounding like a polished music station. Beyond the FM dial, Eclipse offers a live online stream and its own app, so the mix of new songs and eighties and nineties favorites reaches listeners well beyond Tigre. Nearly two decades on, aires de musica remains the identity of the station - a long run for a neighborhood broadcaster.
