About COSMOPS FM 1001
Cosmos FM 100.1 greets its listeners with a simple Hola Canuelas - and that is the whole mission: the radio of Canuelas, a dairy town an hour's drive southwest of Buenos Aires, on FM 100.1 and online, and a reference for the whole district.
On air it plays the decades - 80s, 90s and 2000s hits for a family audience - while its website works as a full local news portal, updated daily, several stories a day, with music, world, sports and tourism sections that read like a small newspaper, the world section following Argentine and global news. The music desk clearly leans rock: the recent headlines run from Tony Iommi to Metallica.
The stream runs free from cosmosfm.com.ar, the news bulletins feed the site, and the Facebook page keeps the town conversation going, day in, day out. A small-town FM that behaves like a multimedia outlet - the town's bulletin board and jukebox in one, for residents and for anyone homesick for the district.
