Blur FM

Blur FM has been streaming since 1999 - one of the oldest web radios still standing, a veteran of the first wave of internet broadcasting, powered by the Argentine multimedia shop Argensonix. The formula has not aged: pure music, without commercial interruptions, a curated selection of pop, rock and indie.

The pitch is a quiet rebellion against the streaming services: no algorithms, no repetition, always something new to listen to - a playlist built for focus, inspiration and creativity, curated by humans and calm in mood. A Spotlight section pushes artists worth attention, and unsigned bands are invited to send their demos.

The stream runs around the clock from blurfm.com on its own Icecast server, in English and Spanish, with streaming infrastructure from Psand and Dyne.org, old allies of the indie web, and socials on Facebook, X and Instagram. Twenty-seven years of web radio - and still discovering.
