Metronomy is an English electronic music project founded and led by multi-instrumentalist Joseph Mount. Hailing from Totnes, Devon, the group has carved a distinct niche in the 21st-century indie landscape, achieving a UK number one album with their 2011 breakthrough record The English Riviera.

Early career
