WhiteLow

WhiteLow: The Driving Force of Modern German Rock
WhiteLow is a dynamic German rock band known for its potent blend of melodic alternative rock and post-grunge energy. Originating from Hamburg, the group achieved notable commercial success in the late 2010s with their charting album Echoes in the Dark and its certified lead single.
Early career
WhiteLow formed in Hamburg in 2012, founded by vocalist/guitarist Lars Vogt and bassist Finn Weber. The band honed its sound through relentless touring on the German club circuit, building a dedicated regional following. Their self-released debut EP, Grey Skies, in 2014, caught the attention of several independent labels.
This early work led to a development deal with Berlin-based indie label Motorcity Records in 2015. The band used this opportunity to refine their songwriting, culminating in their first full-length studio album, Crossroads, which was released in 2016 to positive critical reception within the European rock scene.
Breakthrough
The band's major breakthrough arrived in 2018 with their sophomore album, Echoes in the Dark, released via the larger imprint Vertigo Berlin. Propelled by heavy radio rotation, the album debuted at number 22 on the German Albums Chart. Its lead single, "Fading Out," became a staple on rock radio and was certified gold in Germany for sales exceeding 200,000 units.
This success established WhiteLow as a formidable new force in the German rock landscape. The album's tour saw them graduate to larger venues and festival slots, including appearances at Rock am Ring and Hurricane Festival.
