24.07.30

Rick Black’s 24.07.30 is a deep dive into the heavy, hypnotic world of instrumental stoner rock. Every riff, groove, and textured layer you hear is the singular vision of its creator, with all writing and production handled personally by Rick. This podcast functions as a direct feed from the studio, offering raw, immersive tracks built on fuzzed-out bass lines, deliberate drums, and sprawling guitar work that prioritizes mood and atmosphere over conventional song structure. There are no vocals here to guide you-just the weight and groove of the music itself, designed to pull you into a headspace where the rhythm is the narrative. Tuning in feels less like pressing play on a typical show and more like stepping into a private listening session where each episode is a new, wordless chapter. For anyone who finds clarity in distortion or a meditative state in a repeating, amplified loop, this series provides a consistent source of that sonic gravity. The entire journey, from the first feedback swell to the final fading resonance, is crafted by one artist, making this podcast a focused and authentic portal into a specific corner of instrumental rock.
