Episode #89 - An Interview with Dr. Caroline Leaf PhD.

Author: 30/30 Strong January 25, 2019 Duration: 1:00:16

Dr. Caroline Leaf is a communication pathologist and cognitive neuroscientist with a Masters and PhD in Communication Pathology and a BSc Logopedics, specializing in cognitive and metacognitive neuropsychology. Since the early 1980s she has researched the mind-brain connection, the nature of mental health and the formation of memory. She was one of the first in her field to study how the brain can change with directed mind input.

Her work goes beyond mindfulness and the 'quick fixes" of the current mental health system and technological age and takes you into the world of hard work, which is the only way to create effective change with lasting effects.

There's a growing space where proven science meets holistic practice, and that's exactly the terrain mapped by the 30/30 Health Podcast. Created by the team at 30/30 Strong, these conversations move beyond the conventional to examine complementary approaches that are grounded in real evidence. Each episode feels like a deep, accessible dialogue, pulling apart complex health topics to find practical strategies for everyday life. You'll hear from a range of voices-clinicians, researchers, and practitioners-who are actively working at this intersection. The discussions naturally weave through fitness, alternative therapies, and foundational health principles, all with a focus on what genuinely works. Tuning into this podcast is less about finding a quick fix and more about understanding the interconnected systems of the body. It’s for anyone curious about building sustainable strength and wellness, who prefers their insights to be both forward-thinking and rigorously supported. The aim is to equip you with a clearer, more nuanced perspective on your own health journey, one thirty-minute conversation at a time.
