Hellboy is arguably one of the most recognisable comic-book characters that aren’t part of the Marvel of DC multiverses, and Mike Mignola’s creation has been preventing all manner of occult shenanigans, mystical hijinks and supernatural tomfoolery for twenty five years. Which means it’s a good time to find out more about Hellboy, the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defence, and punching demons in the face with a big red hand made of stone.
