Author: CBS News October 6, 2025 Duration: 47:20
With vaccinations increasingly a point of political tension, correspondent Jon Wertheim reports on the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program – a “no fault” vaccine court that balances the public health benefits of widespread vaccination with rare cases of harm to individuals. Founded in the 1980s, the program has paid out billions of dollars to thousands of Americans. International crime groups are finding new, sophisticated ways to infiltrate the global supply chain online, stealing hundreds of millions of dollars of goods per year. Correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi reports on the growing threat of cargo theft and how 24 thousand bottles of Guy Fieri’s tequila vanished on their way to the warehouse. Correspondent Lesley Stahl visits Rob Reiner on the New Orleans set of Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, the long-awaited sequel to his 1984 cult classic, This Is Spinal Tap. Four decades after launching the now-beloved mockumentary genre with a fully improvised classic, the director of When Harry Met Sally, Stand By Me, A Few Good Men, and The Princess Bride reunites the band for an encore.
