She comments on the importance of voter registration and the timely return of your ballots. *Hayward Evans president, Seattle King County NAACP outlines the voting rights efforts that will be made by the Branch by requesting that all NAACP Members be in the forefront of voting rights rallies and getting ballots of home-bound and transportation challenged voters ballots to Record and Elections collection sites. *Abdul Yusef, Seattle King County NAACP Executive Committee Member organized the participation of the following committee members Azeem Underwood, Abin Nellams, and Peter Gishuru to participate in the Saturday Family for Success event, 483 people were in attendance. Some local elected officials participated in a panel discussion and responded to questions and concerns. *Peter Gishuru, President/CEO, African Chamber of Commerce for the Pacific Northwest was established in 1998.
