Host Puneet Dhaliwal, PT, DPT, NCS is joined by Dr. Robert Gürkov, MD, PhD. An internationally trained physician and eminent Otorhinolaryngology. He has taught as a Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Munich, head of Neurotology at LMU, Munich, Senior physician and head of the vertigo clinic at Bielefeld Clinic. He is currently working as ENT surgeon at Specialist Center Munich-Laim. With a PhD on Diagnosis and Therapy of Menière's Disease, he has multiple landmarks to his name.Including - Introduction of Endolymphatic Hydrops Imaging for clinical practice, Discovery of VEMP frequency tuning in Menières Disease.Introduction of the terminology "Hydropic Ear Disease" and Discovery of Amiodarone-associated Bilateral Vestibulopathy.
