Gaunt's Ghosts 3: NECROPOLIS by Dan Abnett

Ever find yourself staring at the sprawling shelves of Warhammer fiction, wondering where to even begin? Arbitor Ian's Warhammer Book Club with Mira Manga is that conversation between two friends diving headfirst into that very library. Hosted by Arbitor Ian alongside Mira Manga, each episode feels like pulling up a chair in a cozy corner of a hobby shop, listening as they unpack the dense lore, memorable characters, and sheer scale found within these novels. The dynamic is the real draw here: Ian brings his deep knowledge of the setting, while Mira provides the fresh, often hilariously uninitiated perspective of someone encountering this universe for the first time. There’s a running, good-natured joke about her gradual corruption as she reads more, a slow and inevitable fall to Chaos that adds a layer of personal narrative to their literary exploration. This isn't a dry, academic analysis, but a genuine book club experience filled with speculation, laughter, and the occasional moment of awe at the epic tales. You'll hear them discuss specific books in detail, sharing their reactions to plot twists and character decisions, making this podcast a perfect companion whether you're a longtime fan or just curious about the stories behind the miniatures. Forget heresy; it's just two people talking about the books they're reading, and that's what makes it so engaging.
