Arkansas Eyes Top Georgia Prospect | Arkansas Razorback Basketball News

Arkansas is heating up the recruiting trail with a major splash—landing top-ranked 2027 forward AJ Williams, the No. 5 overall prospect and Georgia’s best small forward. At 6-foot-7 and 220 pounds, Williams dropped his top ten schools, including Arkansas, after averaging 32 points and 13 rebounds as a sophomore and dominating the Nike EYBL. Scouts rave about his NBA-ready scoring versatility, athleticism, and defensive rim protection. Though he hasn’t visited Fayetteville yet, he’s already checked out Auburn, Duke, and Georgia Tech—and official visits are on the way. With Calipari leading the charge, landing Williams could be the statement play Arkansas needs to elevate its program.
