Auburn Forestry Accused of Sex Discrimination | Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball News

Auburn University is under fire after a lawsuit filed by former doctoral students and faculty members alleges a toxic, gender-biased culture in the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment — where women and non-binary individuals faced ridicule, exclusion, and retaliation, leading some to abandon their studies or career paths. The plaintiffs claim a professor systematically undermined female voices while favoring male colleagues, and one non-binary student reported being ignored and emotionally harmed. Despite internal complaints, those who spoke out suffered professional setbacks, including lost opportunities and demotions. Now, they’re suing under Title IX and Title VII, demanding accountability as Auburn remains silent on the case — exposing deep-seated inequities in academia.
