Auburns Jordan-Hare Stadium North Project: A Game-Changer for Game Days and Campus Life

Auburn Universitys Board of Trustees has approved a massive $300 million project to upgrade Jordan-Hare Stadium, set to break ground in summer 2026 and complete by spring 2029. This collaboration between athletics and student affairs will enhance game days and campus life year-round.

The new north side will maintain the stadiums 88,000 fan capacity while adding over 3,000 premium seats, five entry gates, 66 concession spots, 13 elevators, and 270 restrooms. Exclusive clubs like Tigers Terrace and Kick Six Field Club, along with Shugs Food Hall, will cater to students daily and fans on Saturdays.

The project will create spaces for students to connect and build traditions, according to Student Affairs VP Bobby Woodard. Athletics Director John Cohen calls it a generational win for fans and the community, while Head Coach Alex Golesh expects it to elevate the game day experience.

A sixth-floor terrace will link the upper decks, offering more food, standing room, and a spot for the Eagle Flight tradition. Outside, the North Plaza will add green space and walkways, connecting the stadium to Petrie Hall.

HOK architects lead the design, with Robins and Morton handling construction. The project will kick off phase two after the new video board drops for the 2025 football season, setting Auburn up for elite experiences ahead.
