Gavin Jenkins Rising at Auburn | Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball News

Gavin Jenkins, Auburn’s fiery new transfer cornerback, is already lighting up preseason camp with his relentless work ethic and NFL-level potential. A former South Florida standout who didn’t see much playing time last year, Jenkins is now a coaching favorite — even earning praise from his own cornerbacks coach, Demarcus Van-Dyke, who sees him as a natural leader in the secondary. Standing at 6’2”, Jenkins has the physical tools to be a game-changer, and Coach Alex Golesh believes he’s got the talent to make it to the pros if he can lock things in. With four years of eligibility left, Jenkins is pushing hard to earn a starting role this season — and the team’s defense could be seriously elevated if he delivers.
