Golesh Builds Auburn’s New Identity | Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball News

Auburn’s new head coach Alex Golesh unveiled his bold vision for the program at SEC Media Days, pledging to build a tough, player-led culture rooted in physical and mental resilience. He’s confident quarterback Byrum Brown will lead the charge as one of the nation’s top signal-callers, fueled by relentless daily discipline. Golesh champions a run-first offense designed to create explosive plays and emphasized that success isn’t measured in wins alone—but in establishing a winning identity. Praising key players like Champ and Alex McPherson for their grit, he stressed unity among returning and new talent. Rather than chasing traditional goals, Golesh is focused on proving Auburn’s new model works—building a foundation so strong it attracts elite recruits and ensures long-term championship contention. His mantra? Execute every day, stay relentless, and let the wins follow.
