Once you know how to clean vertical blinds it's easy. The key is to clean them on a regular basis like a bi-weekly cleaning schedule. Vertical blinds have two sides that can easily be dusted with a Swiffer duster on a bi-weekly clean. Both sides can be accessed simply by pulling a string at the end of the blinds.
If your vertical shades haven't been cleaned in a while the process we learn today is the preferred method for cleaning them. This is also the way we train professional house cleaners to clean vertical blinds.
If you can help it, don't take the vertical slats off the hooks, it's easy to break the hooks, bend the blinds, and tempting to soak the blinds or use chemicals that can discolor them if they have fabric on one side.
