The whole issue of right and wrong that I discuss in this week's report goes very deep and can trigger a lot of judgment. A person may think they have done nothing "wrong," and maybe they didn't, but maybe they are lying to themselves and/or are blind to or denying the effects of their actions (Neptune). Restorative justice speaks to any harm being done to another person. We may not have done anything "wrong" but our actions could still have caused harm to another person (and vice versa) and we are therefore accountable to that person to do our best to help heal their wound.
I like the approach of Nonviolent Communication that speaks to people creating "bad strategies" to get their needs met that end up hurting other people. In this paradigm the person is not "bad," but has used "bad" means to attain their end. No matter how we look at it, everyone is responsible for what they've put out in the world and Saturn never forgets. It may take him 28 years (or more) to bring things back round but he's in no hurry. Look how long the Middle East has been at war!
So, it's not a matter of "hurry up and fix it." It's a matter of uncovering layer after layer of our psyche to see down into the root of ourselves and our motivations. My feeling is that most everything nasty that people do is based upon a sense of lack. We're not enough, don't have enough, are missing or got ripped off of this, that, or the other thing/person/experience. We need more money, sex, power, recognition, you name it...
This sense of lack comes at the moment of birth when they cut the umbilical cord. It is profound. There is an empty void created that can really only be filled with "Spirit." However, Spirit is in all that is! So go figure! Besides "spirits," (alcohol), their are nature spirits, daimons, angelic spirits, dark spirits, "dead" spirits, there's spirits all over, in and through this place.
It's simply that there are some spirits that are more healthy for us than others. If we don't fill our emptiness with healthy spirits, we can stay hungry, greedy, lustful, depraved, etc. and take actions that harm other people. So this time/year of reckoning that we are in is an excellent time to review our strategies with an aim to fill our life experience with healthy spirits thereby letting go of old bad habit patterns that filled the emptiness in the past. Here's to some new healthy habits with Mars in Virgo!
