E083: The Grass Is Often Not Greener

A lot of people think that the grass is greener on the other side, that they need to "be somewhere else" to get what they want. Sometimes it's true, but most of the time it's not. And for many years I believed that as well, to one point saying "I will NEVER come back to Canada. Never back to Vancouver. There's nothing there for me".

Yet here I am, typing this at my stand up desk in Vancouver, recording this episode in Vancouver, and building my career in that same city I once said "held nothing for me". So I hope todays episode will help you if you're the same as I was, and even sometimes can stat to slide back into. But at the end of the day, 90% of the time, it's your mindset, not the place you're in.
