Blind as a Bat | His Silicon Soul

This week on the BATTASS Podcast, the town is painted glowing-red in not one, but both episodes, Blind As A Bat and His Silicon Soul! Batman builds a fancy red-lensed vision booster after losing his sight in Blind as a Bat, and we see the return of the evil A.I. robot duplicant HARDAC in His Silicon Soul! So much red, so little time! 



In “Blind as a Bat”, The Penguin steals a helicopter from an air show, causing an explosion that temporarily blinds Bruce Wayne. Batman knows he can’t wait until his vision comes back to hunt the Penguin down. Although temporarily blinded, Batman is still determined to stop the Penguin, who is threatening the city with a prototype attack helicopter. It’s a little bit Goldeneye, a little bit Bloodsport, and even a little bit Terminator 2! And the Penguin’s there too, I guess. 



In “His Silicon Soul”, when a Batman impersonator appears in Gotham, the real Batman concludes that HARDAC must be involved and confronts creator Karl Rossum about it. The duplicate Batman then shows up and a battle ensues between the two, as HARDAC’s robot replica of Bruce Wayne believes itself to be the real Batman! Blade Runner references are back in the mix, as Batman gets into a doozy of a sword fight with a very Terminator-esque, duplicant version of himself that just might be made TOO well!
