Welcome. Welcome to another episode of Bella in your business. Today's story time. And we're gonna. I can't wait to tell you guys this, because this has been a long time in the making, and you've actually been a part of it and haven't even known it. And I'm gonna tell you all about it today. Today is a success story. It is unlike any other success story that I literally get every single week, because jumpers jump, and you guys are really killing it and doing it.
Amazing. But I always love to shout from the rooftops like a proud mama bear when I see you guys actually taking the advice and then blasting off with it. So let me. Let me back up a little bit. This is a story, a true story about Leah from wonder pups in Florida. And, you know, about a year ago, this woman was building her business. She was building her foundations. She's been in the mastermind and better marketing with Bella for a long time.
And as you know, our doors are open for better marketing. And Bella, they closed this week, but we were only able to work with a certain amount of people, and we can only onboard a certain amount of people because the immense assets that we give you, along with the strategy and the one on one, like, training, is a lot. Anyways, that's another story for another time. Better. Sorry. Jump consulting.net, forward slash marketing. If you want to jump on board and be like leah and a lot of other people, but this is actually a story that encompasses everything. You know, like, we've.
Her and I have been doing intensives. We've been doing better marketing with Bella, and we've been doing the mastermind. And this time last year, you know, we were building all the foundation for her business. Guys, this doesn't happen overnight. Um, and it doesn't happen without struggle, okay? But, um, last year, she was a solo preneur. It was her running. She has, um, some, uh, some two boys that actually listen to the podcast.
What's up? If you guys are listening to it right now. And, um, I love it. I love when your whole family gets in on it. And, uh, she. She now has employees. She has, like, a handful of employees now. And she's even you, you know, promoting them to management positions and more leadership roles and things. But this didn't just happen overnight, and it didn't happen by accident.
So I need to take you through these events all the way up to what inspired this episode today, because I saw something that she just did, and I'm gonna play it for you, too. Because it is remarkably inspiring. But you have to understand the whole. The whole story. I'm gonna give you all the chapters. I'm not gonna just tell you about the final chapter. While we were creating all this foundation. And when she first started hiring, I believe it was in December of 2023 at the recording.
It's now October 2024. Tomorrow is actually her birthday. This will come out on Thursday. It would have been her birthday on Monday. So, happy birthday, girl. And when she started hiring, she understood the concept of these hiring phases that we do. And she was also on a couple episodes back in March about her success with jazz HR, because she literally does not have a hiring problem. Everyone else has.
So many people say they have hiring problems. I. My jumpers don't, and she's one of them. And, um, you can go back to that episode, too. I'll try to put it in the show notes. Um, I I don't know what one is off the top of my head, and I don't have it in the notes here for today. However, um, we are gonna keep going on here. So, she specifically hired for people that weren't just dog lovers, just don't have a pulse, and that'll show up and.
And go walk dogs or do. Do pet sitting. Right. She wanted people who. She could build them up, and she could have them for office managers and who were friendly and able to be on camera and go on social media, which this is foreshadowing. So stay with me. And, you know, I see so many sitters get discouraged by when they put into some of their phases. You know, send me a video, and I've heard a lot of people bashed it online, too.
And that's fine. That's, you know, stinking thinking, negative thinking. That's fine. You can stay there. But it works. If you have a goal to bring on people that are not just pet sitters and dog walkers, that are multifaceted, that. That can sell, that can talk at booths at an event, that can go on camera and take over your instagram and. And help you get the word out there, then that's.
You got to start planning for that during your hiring phases and every single phase. I've talked about this many episodes, as well. Hopefully, we can find out some and put it in the show notes for you. Um, if you can figure out what you're looking for and put them in your phases and every single phase kind of tests. And for each one of those, maybe communication is really important to you. Maybe attention to detail, compassion, empathy, you know, and each phase actually tests for this. A lot of people make that mistake, and they don't do that. And they say, oh, my hiring process doesn't work.
Well. Leah put hours and hours and hours, and I helped her. We did this in our intensives, and we really built out this process to the point that we built it out. And then we saw where some things weren't coming back necessarily the way that she intended, so we tweaked them, because guess what? That's what you gotta do. The hiring process needs to be involved. And, like, lots of, like, lots of steps long and involved. Yet for the person, like I talked about in the last episode, for the person going through it, it is a falling in love. It is a courtship.
It is a marketing. It is marketing, and people don't think of it that way, and they're missing the boat so hard. It doesn't have to be as hard as they think. You just have to know exactly what you want, and a lot of people don't do that work. Well, Leah did that work, and Leah figured out exactly who she's. Who she was looking for. And now you fast forward to October 2024, and she is now the fruits of her labor. So, guys, back in episode two, I'm sorry, 408, I talked to you, and I went in a little bit more depth inside the mastermind, but I talked to you guys.
The fact that fourth quarter was coming, that it's here, and that this is the best time to get your name and your. I'm sorry, I'm, like, yelling right now because I'm so excited. Hope I'm not blowing out your speakers, but I was talking about the fact that fourth quarter is one of the best quarters in the entire year to get your name out there. Because there's fall festivals and there's Halloween things, and there's. And there's Thanksgiving events and, and there's winter festivals and there's Santa Paz, and there's all this stuff happening. And it's really easy for you to jump on to other people's events or to create your own event. Okay.
