CRAFT BEER PODCAST INFO:
October 2015, Ken, Dan, and Nick decided to revive an old podcast we used to do about craft beer, professional wrestling, and MMA. And while those last two topics do sneak into our show every now and then, we decided to focus on the industry, and we started Better on Draft with our very first guest, Eric Briggeman.
On episode 40, Jon Piepenbrok joined us along with Eric to celebrate 40 episode in which we talked about beer festivals, the persistent snobbery in craft beer in 2016, and discuss the future.
When episode 100 came around we wanted to bring Jon and Eric back, but they suggested we also bring in Aaron Lanctot, well known at the time for his time at Blake’s. We repeated it two years later on episode 200 with the same trio, so it was only right to do it again for episode 300.
Myself, VP of Two Roots and Rochester Mills Eric Briggeman, now distributor rep Jon Piepenbrok, and now sales rep for Curaleaf Aaron Lanctot sit down to talk about the craft beer industry in a post 2020 world. We talk about the similarities between the marijuana industry and craft beer, the things we can learn from the regulation and deregulation of marijuana, and we look at some of our previous thoughts on the future of craft beer, and what we think we’ll be talking about for episode 400 in 2024.
