This episode has been a long time in the making. I onboarded a taco shop in Southern California with our Bitcoin meet up to BTC Pay Server for the first time back in 2020, and ever since then, I’ve basically been working on understanding the ins and outs of small businesses more and how they can adopt Bitcoin.

My conversation with Joe Wood of Satoshi Pacioli is now the most succinct discussion I’ve been able to have about how a small business can use sats and hold sats and I’m pumped up about that, I hope you like it.

We cover:
- The history and purpose of accounting in general
- The difference between rules for private and public company's treatment of Bitcoin
- End to end, how can a business accept sats as payment and then buy something from a vendor in sats
- How to think about sats and USD on a balance sheet
