Our Lent series, "everything [in] between" is inspired by the Gospel of Luke. On this fourth Sunday of Lent, Jesus shares a parable about a tree that is struggling to do what it was planted to do. The tree's owner wants to cut it down to make room for a more productive tree, but the gardener wants to nurture it, give it the care it needs to flourish and produce fruit. He wants to give it time to grow. It's an important lesson as we explore the in-between of rest and growth.
