In this episode, I’ll talk about one of the most famous wrestlers from India, Punjab turned actor Sardar Dara Singh. His death anniversary was last week and to celebrate his life, I have decided to do a special on him. He became one of the most famous actors in Indian cinema once he decided to do films. He is considered the first He-Man in Indian cinema. Not only did he act in films but he also produced and directed films. Dara Singh acted in over 100 Hindi, Punjabi, Gujrati, and Malyalam films. He also worked in numerous successful tv serials, dramas and reality shows. He formed a very successful pairing with actress Mumtaz who some people claim that he was in love with; I’ll also discuss their relationship.
