In this episode, I’ll talk about one of the most prominent singer but flopped actor Shailendra Singh. Shailendra Singh is a legendary Indian playback singer who sang several popular Hindi songs during the late seventies and the early eighties. He was born on 4th of October in 1952 in Mumbai, India in a Punjabi family. He had many hit songs to his credit. The renowned film maker Raj Kapoor gave Shailendra Singh a break when he signed him for his film Bobby. His songs in Bobby became chartbusters. However, his popularity was short lived. He even tried his hand at acting but his debut film flopped very badly. He was a good singer of his time.
