Tuning into Brazilian Portuguese Language-Teacher Mary feels less like a formal class and more like a helpful conversation with a friend who happens to be an expert. Each episode is built around real-life situations-ordering food in a *lanchonete*, making plans with friends, or understanding the lyrics of a popular samba song.
