A little while back, Karl mentioned how nice it would be if, on some blizzardy NYC day, he and Elizabeth would discover a brand new Buckaroo Holiday to enjoy whilst huddling and hunkering. Touched by this, I promised to deliver exactly that. Now, As the snow outside my window piles higher and higher, I am posting that show. Maybe the LES is not as blizzardish as out here in my neck of the woods, but close enough. And if my power goes out, it'll be too late to post it. I CAN'T RISK THIS BETRAYAL OF MY SACRED PROMISE. But look, if you are not experiencing blizzardian conditions and wish to experience this show as intended, then hold off. Don't listen yet. Download it and keep it in your personal electronic device until the time is right. But then again, if you want to just listen anyway and not experience the anxious yearning that holding back would entail, go on ahead and do it. Here at Buckaroo Holiday we respect YOUR choices. We honor YOUR decisions regarding which entertainment to consume when.  There will be a followup, companion show on the Patreon, for all you extra-special people. That will "drop" very soon. Again, save it for a snowy day or just rip open the bag and eat it immediately. To all: stay warm and be well, mon pals. https://www.patreon.com/buckarooholiday

Tune in to Buckaroo Holiday! for a weekly dose of relaxed conversation and whatever happens to be on the mind of your host, Mike "Sport" Murphy. Think of it as dropping by a favorite spot, the S.Y.G., where the talk is easy and the topics are pleasantly unpredictable. Each episode runs about an hour, sometimes a little more or a little less, and unfolds without much of a plan. You might hear stories from the road, thoughts on a recent book or film, reminiscing about old hobbies, or just observations on the oddities of everyday life. The charm of this podcast lies in its genuine, meandering nature-it feels less like a produced show and more like catching up with a knowledgeable friend who has a knack for finding interest in the ordinary. Created by buckarooholiday60, it’s a perfect companion for a long drive, a workshop putter, or just kicking back on the porch. If you enjoy unscripted, leisurely chats that wander wherever the moment takes them, you’ll find a comfortable home here.
