ADDING THIS INFO: I'm unable to reply to comments, as Podbean only allows you do this through a phone app, and I don't use a smartphone. Sorry about that, but if you want to ask me a question, use Facebook or my email: mcvouty (at) optonline (dot) net. To reply to the question about the mashup (Michael Jackson et al), I made it, along with the other mashups and bits / bobs. Now back to the previously scheduled episode commentary, already in progress. They said it would never happen! Well, this'll show 'em! Our second presentation for your delectation. Posted a little bit sooner than the announced two-week schedule, on account of we're rebels and shit. And 10/23/2019 happens to be the 70th birthday of Nick Tosches. He didn't quite get there, but we here in this vale of tears, left to contend with whatever's left, must. So I'll post this a day or two early as a kind of kiss blown voidward, ad hoc as it is, and I hope, dear ones, that you enjoy the music and bullshit contained herein. Please share at will, please contact me with reactions, suggestions and such, and what do you think, the Patreon thing? Is that worth trying?

Tune in to Buckaroo Holiday! for a weekly dose of relaxed conversation and whatever happens to be on the mind of your host, Mike "Sport" Murphy. Think of it as dropping by a favorite spot, the S.Y.G., where the talk is easy and the topics are pleasantly unpredictable. Each episode runs about an hour, sometimes a little more or a little less, and unfolds without much of a plan. You might hear stories from the road, thoughts on a recent book or film, reminiscing about old hobbies, or just observations on the oddities of everyday life. The charm of this podcast lies in its genuine, meandering nature-it feels less like a produced show and more like catching up with a knowledgeable friend who has a knack for finding interest in the ordinary. Created by buckarooholiday60, it’s a perfect companion for a long drive, a workshop putter, or just kicking back on the porch. If you enjoy unscripted, leisurely chats that wander wherever the moment takes them, you’ll find a comfortable home here.
