Where We've Been and Where We're Going with Eileen Howell & Mike Dickson

Alpha Kappa Psi presents Business Edge, a conversation for those navigating the first crucial years of their career. This isn't about abstract theory or generic motivational speeches. Instead, we sit down with a different professional each week for a candid, detailed walkthrough of their actual journey-the pivotal moments, the unexpected setbacks, and the practical decisions that shaped their path. You'll hear firsthand about the cultural fits and misfits within companies, the personal sacrifices behind public success, and the continuous self-improvement required to adapt. The goal is to move beyond the resume and into the real stories that define business and society. Tuning into this podcast provides a distinct advantage: it’s like having a series of private mentors sharing the nuanced, often unspoken lessons they learned on the way up. We delve into the intersection of personal values and professional ambitions, offering actionable insights you can use to refine your own approach. Whether you're seeking clarity in your current role, planning a next move, or building a more resilient mindset for the long term, these conversations are designed to equip you with a deeper, more human understanding of how careers are truly built and sustained.
