Author: Canadian Government Executive February 28, 2020 Duration: 19:30

Analytics plays an important role in both the private and public sectors and is a crucial part of digital transformation. In this episode of CGE Radio, we will look at one aspect of this, operationalizing analytics within public sector with Kevin Deveau, VP and Managing Director of FICO Canada.

FICO is a San Jose-based data analytics company best known for its ubiquitous credit scoring system. In the U.S., credit scores are often known as "FICO scores". The company also licenses out its analytics software and has been helping businesses extract insights from internal data that they can use to improve their operational strategies.

Kevin has more than 30 years of experience in the international enterprise software industry. He leads the team responsible for growing FICO's Canadian market share and strengthening relationships with both new and existing Canadian clients, helping them use FICO's technologies and solutions to improve their decision-making.

Hear more about how FICO is helping customers both in the public and private sectors to incorporate analytics into their operations, the role that analytics plays in government today and why should governments operationalize their analytics, some of the unique challenges public sector faces when it comes to operationalizing analytics going forward, centralized decisioning and how can public sector organizations benefit from it, what should organizations consider when developing and adopting an analytics strategy and how organizations can stay ahead of the curve when it comes to operationalizing their analytics.
