The Celtics Are STILL Contenders + Remembering Don Nelson | The Big 3 NBA Podcast

Gary Washburn, A. Sherrod Blakely, and Kwani Lunis kick off NBA preseason hype with a look at what they're most excited to see when the season tips off. Which matchups are must-watch? How does the East shake out with all the new pieces in play? Then they address the elephant in the room — Jaylen Brown in Philadelphia. Malcolm Brogdon weighed in, Jaylen posted a Philly cheesesteak, and the transition is becoming very real. Gary and the crew break down what it means for both Brown and the Celtics going forward, and why Boston is still a legitimate contender with Jayson Tatum leading the way. The episode closes on a somber note with a tribute to legendary NBA coach Don Nelson, whose innovative coaching style and decades of impact on the game deserve to be remembered. 0:00 – Intro 1:30 – 2026-27 season preview: what are we most excited for? 3:44 – East landscape & Celtics outlook without Jaylen 8:22 – Jaylen Brown in Philly: is it becoming real? 14:12 – PrizePicks 16:36 – Gary's take: Jaylen Brown doing Jaylen Brown things 19:31 – Remembering Don Nelson: legacy and impact on the NBA 25:57 – Outro Celtics on CLNS Media is Powered by: 💰 PrizePicks - Sign up at http://prizepicks.onelink.me/LME0/CLNS & Download the app today and use code CLNS to get $150 instantly in Lineups if you win your first $5 Lineup!
