3.1.23 Solo Episode with Chris Liddle on Intentionally Connecting, Being Grateful and Chasing Your Potential

Author: Chris Liddle March 2, 2023 Duration: 38:19

In the spirit of getting back on track with regular episodes, I recorded a solo episode for you today. First of all, I want to thank you for being here. I also want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way. Some of you are mentioned in the podcast, but I already can think of many people that I would have mentioned if you have me 5 more hours. I spared you though. You allow me to barge into your inbox and your ear holes like I own the place and I really appreciate that. It gets easy to forget about the things we have to be grateful for, and about the helpers we have in life. I’m sure if you’re anything like me, you forget from time to time. Today’s episode is about remembering, and then taking care of those connections as best as you can.

I’ll keep the shownotes short, but while you’re here → some current events in the world of Chris Liddle. If you’re looking for an in-person trainer and you are able to get to Evolve Strength South in Edmonton, I’d love to work with you. If you are a bit further away, or want to try something that allows you to train wherever and whenever, connect with me about remote training. It’s straightforward, my dad figured it out and he’s more of a tree and cow guy than a computer and phone guy so you can totally do it too. I’ve had the pleasure of working with people across the United States and in Western Canada. I’ve worked with people as young as 13 to as old as 70. It’s amazing what can happen for a person when they have someone in their corner. I’ve seen a lot of cool things in this career so far and would love to help you be a part of that.If you’d like to work with me, you can fill out this form here - from there, we’ll do a zoom call to see what’s next for you.

Lastly - thank you for being a part of The Lifestyle Chase Podcast. I’ll be doing more solo episodes like this in the future. Stay tuned.

Chasing Common Ground: Lifestyle Conversations with Chris Liddle is a space for thoughtful dialogue that lives between categories. Host Chris Liddle believes meaningful progress comes from connecting ideas across the usual boundaries of education, culture, and self-improvement. Each episode, whether a solo reflection or a conversation with a guest, is built on a simple, powerful question: where can we find shared understanding? This isn't about quick fixes or passive listening. It's a purpose-driven exploration of the habits, philosophies, and societal shifts that shape our daily lives. The aim is to uncover practical insights and nuanced perspectives that resonate, helping you move forward incrementally but intentionally. You'll hear discussions that feel like a good, meandering talk with a curious friend-one that leaves you with something to chew on, not just consume. The podcast deliberately avoids easy labels, weaving together threads from personal development, cultural commentary, and societal observation to examine what a considered life can look like. It’s an ongoing series for anyone tired of echo chambers and interested in the subtle art of building a better year, and a better self, through conversation. Tune in for a consistently engaging mix of voices and topics that all circle back to that essential chase for common ground.
