Is the Kyler Gordon situation becoming a legitimate problem for the Chicago Bears?
On today’s episode of Chicago Bears Central, Haize dives into a report from 104.3 The Score’s Adam Hoge suggesting frustration may be building inside Halas Hall over Gordon’s continued absence.
Gordon began training camp on the PUP list while dealing with a soft-tissue issue, and Hoge compared the vibe surrounding his extended absence to the frustration that eventually developed around Nate Davis.
That doesn’t mean a trade is coming—but with Malik Muhammad emerging at nickel and Chicago already dealing with major secondary injuries, Gordon’s status is becoming increasingly important. 👀
Then we get an incredible behind-the-scenes look at Ben Johnson’s coaching style with Caleb Williams.
During a team meeting, Johnson reportedly tore into an interception from Williams—not simply because Caleb made a bad decision, but because the rest of the offense failed to respond after the turnover.
That tells us a LOT about what Johnson is trying to build.
🔥 Accountability
🔥 Effort after mistakes
🔥 All 11 players finishing every play
🔥 No moping
🔥 No complacency after last season’s success
Haize breaks down why Johnson’s message wasn’t just about Caleb—it was about creating a championship-level standard throughout the entire roster.
We’re also looking ahead to the Bears’ preseason matchup with the Cleveland Browns, where several players have enormous opportunities:
🏃 Roschon Johnson needs to reassert himself in the RB room
🚀 Kaden Davis can continue forcing the Bears to notice him
🧱 Jedrick Wills Jr. can make a serious push for the starting LT job
💪 Jordan van den Berg can prove the training-camp hype is real
🛡️ Malik Muhammad can strengthen his case for a Week 1 role
And finally…
🏟️ Could we finally get meaningful Chicago Bears stadium news?
The Bears are expected to address their stadium project, with Hammond, Indiana and Arlington Heights remaining central to the ongoing discussion.
Will this finally produce clarity—or are Bears fans headed right back into stadium purgatory?
