Haggai 2:1-9 // Gabe Coyle

Have you ever looked at what you are building or working on and felt like it completely pales in comparison to the past? In this study of Haggai 2:1-9, we look at a community of people who were discouraged because their new temple looked like nothing compared to the glory of Solomon's original temple. God meets them in their disappointment with a powerful command: be strong and work, because my spirit remains with you. This sermon explores how God promises to shake the heavens and the earth, bring the wealth of nations into his house, and make the future glory of his people far greater than anything they had seen before. If you feel discouraged by small beginnings or weak results, this message will give you the strength to keep going.
