011 - Christie as Housekeeper

In Christies Christmas, author Pansy weaves a tale that is far more than a simple holiday story. This fiction podcast follows young Christie Tucker, for whom a single day holds extraordinary weight-it is both Christmas and her birthday. The new railroad line makes a visit to her wealthy Uncle Daniel possible, marking her first journey beyond the familiar borders of her small town. What begins as a thrilling adventure, however, quickly unfolds into a series of surprising events, each choice and chance encounter setting off a chain of consequences that will shape Christie’s world in ways she never imagined. Listeners are invited into a rich, family-friendly narrative where the anticipation of a train ride and a festive celebration gives way to deeper lessons about connection, change, and the unexpected ways our lives intertwine. The story, told with a gentle warmth suited for kids and families alike, captures the magic and mystery of a single Christmas that alters everything. It’s a podcast built for shared listening, a story that lingers long after the final chapter, reminding us that the smallest moments can have the largest echoes.
