Cleveland Rockin' Wildcats: Hockey for All
Every Friday night at the North Olmsted Recreation Center, the Cleveland Rockin Wildcats special-needs hockey team brings together players of all ages and abilities, fostering a sense of belonging and fulfilling hockey dreams. Coach Julie Nader, an engineer by day, dedicates her Fridays to supporting her team, which has grown from nine to twenty-eight players over the past twelve years. Longtime member Dennis, a thirty-seven-year-old left wing, has been with the Wildcats for more than twenty years. This spring, the team heads to Lake Placid for their first tournament, marking a significant step in their journey.
