Every week, Matt D. grabs a stack of comics and sits down with his two young co-hosts for an unscripted, often hilarious, and genuinely insightful conversation. Comics with my kids is a family podcast that explores the colorful panels and sprawling storylines of graphic novels through the unfiltered perspectives of childhood. You’ll hear genuine reactions, surprising plot predictions, and the kind of earnest questions that only a kid can ask, all gently guided by Matt’s own lifelong enthusiasm for the medium. The discussions are less about formal critique and more about shared discovery, capturing the moment when a new character becomes a favorite or a confusing twist gets unraveled together. It’s a window into how stories resonate across generations, filled with laughter, tangents, and the occasional debate over superhero costumes. This podcast celebrates the simple act of reading together, turning the pages of a comic book into an adventure for all three voices in the room. Listen in for a uniquely charming and heartwarming take on the world of sequential art, where the review is just the starting point for a much bigger family conversation.
