Trump Administration Keeping Almost Every Backward Obama Idea on Foreign Policy Ep 142

Trump Administration Keeping Almost Every Backward Obama Idea on Foreign Policy Ep 142

Author: Blaze Podcast Network August 28, 2017 Duration: 42:37
With every conservative now pushed out of this administration, it is essentially Obama’s third term on most aspects of foreign policy. In this episode of the Conservative Conscience, we dissect the essence of this administration’s foreign policy and prove that Obama’s dyslexic foreign policy priorities are continuing.  We suck heavy resources down the drains of Islamic civil wars while refusing to use soft power where it is more effective.  We are helping our enemies with our own military while alienating allies.  We are threatening to cut off aid to Sisi in Egypt while continuing aid to Lebanese [Hezbollah] military and to UNRWA.  We are doing more for Iran than they could possibly pay us for, yet we are doing it for free and with the lives and resources of our military.  At the same time, Trump is allying with Erdogen and dumping on the Kurds, while promoting the unreliable Afghani government.  One could not possibly conjure up a more backwards foreign policy.  And as we demonstrate, the generals are just as much a part of the problem, several of whom are now in civilian leadership.    Show links Why the Afghanistan strategy doesn’t add up Trump admin refused to cut $300 million to Pro-Hamas UN Agency, but cuts off aid to Egypt   General admits we are helping Iran and Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq Learn more about your ad choices. Navigating the daily news cycle often feels like wading through a swamp of manufactured narratives and partisan spin. Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz offers a different path, diving deep into the core principles that should guide policy and cultural analysis from a right-leaning perspective. Hosted by Daniel Horowitz and presented by the Blaze Podcast Network, this show isn't about rehashing the headlines you've already heard. Instead, it's a detailed examination of how conservative philosophy applies to current events, dissecting the failures of both the left and the compromised right with a focus on foundational ideas rather than personality-driven politics. Each episode aims to untangle complex issues in news, culture, and society, providing listeners with a framework for understanding that goes beyond superficial talking points. You'll find a consistent push for intellectual consistency and a critique of empty political theater, whether the topic is legislation, a cultural trend, or a foreign policy decision. The goal is to equip you with a clearer, more principled way to process the world's noise. For anyone seeking substance over soundbites, this podcast serves as a rigorous, principle-first review of the American landscape.
