Author: Craft Beer Republic August 21, 2018 Duration: 41:39
Cheers San Diego beer lovers! This week, Greg is on a road trip down to beer city aka San Diego and he is talking with Eppig Brewing Company's co-owner Stephanie Eppig and head brewer Nathan Stephens. Eppig Brewing has a very unique and fun history behind the name dating back to the 1800's.
In addition to their rich history, the crew discusses Eppig's focus when it comes to beer making and what has made them so successful thus far. They also talk about Nate's background in engineering and BBQ and his beginnings as a home brewer turned professional at Ballast Point, Stephanie's background with Toyota, the difficulties in opening the brewery, the new waterfront location, the various roles that everyone fills, how working at a big brewery prepares you for opening a small one, the North Park beer scene, listener questions and so much more! On top of all of that, we sampled five of their delicious beers as a guided tasting for anyone that comes into the tasting room.

A huge thank you to Stephanie and Nate from Eppig Brewing for lending their time as well as sharing their delicious beer.
