Batch269: West Coast Hops & The Worst Beer Ever

Batch269: West Coast Hops & The Worst Beer Ever

Author: Craft Beer Republic September 15, 2021 Duration: 40:37
Grab your pretzels and cold ones; it’s research time! Erica is teaming up with Flex and Greg to talk about the worst beer around, teachers getting drunk on the job, drinking beer for a good cause, and some weird drinking laws up in Oregon.

Erica starts off the hydration with Fall River Brewing Co’s Hexagenia, a five hop IPA. Greg is drinking for a cause with F*Cancer from Silver Moon Brewing. An IPA with proceeds going to a variety of cancer charities.

It turns out a lot of the listeners were not down for pancakes and beer; what’s the problem? Greg had a homebrewing adventure and interviewed one of his favorite local breweries. Erica comes packing with her doctor-approved hangover cure.

Jason, aka ExceptionalGrogs calls in, and we find out he works on a huge TV show. Unfortunately, he’s also not having a blast down under.

Blue Moon is releasing a hazy, but why? Natty Lite is launching a flavored spirits brand for all the desperate college kids. A drunk teacher in Indiana was arrested for having an extended lunch break. And a man was arrested for getting drunk and dragging his boat home, sans trailer.

Thanks to Oregon for this week’s Ludicrous Libation Law; apparently, they like snacks.
